St James Cemetery on a foggy night with light streaming down to show you that there’s truth in the saying, that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. All you need to do is reach out and stop holding the darkness within.

There are a number of organisations you can speak to, day and night and you can find them by typing into a search engine ‘MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS HELPLINE’.

UK: MIND, CALM, SAMARITANS to name, but a few.

USA: If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) to reach a 24-hour crisis center, or text MHA to 741741 at the Crisis Text Line. You can also call 1-800-985-5990 or text “TalkWithUs” to 66746 at the SAMHSA Disaster Distress Helpline.

If you’re not ready to speak to someone, take a pen and paper and let your mind control the pen. SPEW it all down onto paper and dispose of it so that no one can read it if that makes you feel better.

By writing it out, you’re expelling the negative energy, you’re no longer keeping it bottled within and it’s a start until you’re ready to seek help.
